White House spokesman Bill Burton told Fox News that President Obama's visit to the Army's top medical facility was planned before Thursday's shooting rampage at Fort Hood that left 13 people dead and 30 wounded.
In the wake of the deadliest mass shooting at a U.S. base, President Obama plans to visit Walter Reed Army Medical Center Friday.
White House spokesman Bill Burton told Fox News that Obama's visit to the Army's top medical facility was planned before Thursday's shooting rampage at Fort Hood that left 13 people dead and 30 wounded.
Although it didn't appear on the White Houses' weekly schedule, Burton said it was already in the works. Obama was planning to visit House Democrats on Capitol Hill ahead of their historic debate and vote on health care reform but he pushed the meeting back to Saturday. White House aides said the delay is not because of the shooting aftermath but because he wants to visit closer to the vote expected as early as late Saturday.

I’m sure it was scheduled before Ft. Hood.......obama had already planned to use the vets for health care, nothing he does is not planned.

I recall he was going to stop by there during the campaign but, when told no cameras would be allowed, he went to the gym instead.

I remember when I was in. You were ordered to be there and ordered to be respectful and enthusiastic. (Remember from seeing Bill and Hill doing troop rallies at Aviano during the Balkan operations)

Obama has not visited the wounded since assuming the Presidency. Axelrod needs a photo op.
We already know that WR has a nice gym. Perhaps there is a mosque there too so the PINO can pray to his masters. After all, that is where the “devout” mudslime POS that shot our soldiers was prior to Ft. Hood.
