You nailed it. He's only been in it for the adoration. He agrees with his Commie handlers, but his MAIN motivation is the love and attention he never got as a child.
Saddest of all for all African Americans is that Obama was chosen as the means for these anti-American handlers because he is black. Yes, he was a token. It wouldn't have worked if he were white. Obama was the walking race card. Sad, and a far distance from the color-blindness that non-racists, and Martin Luther King, sought.
