squarebarb said this makes the Army look bad. I denigrate that. You asked if it's better to just roll over and die -- a tacit accusation of cowardice on the part of the soldiers. I denigrate that as well.
And now you're invoking Scott Beamer, whose actions you are offering in apparent contrast to those soldiers who (your meaning is now crystal clear) didn't charge as they should have.... You're rather loudly confirming my earlier suspicion about your meaning.
