Good that she hit him 4 times. Bad that after 4 times, she still didn't kill him. I don't know. I think Hassan would have preferred to die. Now he is going to have to suffer and those 72 virgins are going to have to wait.

Officer Kimberly Munley of the Fort Hood Police Department is a “trained, active first responder” who acted quickly after she “just happened to encounter the gunman,” said Lt. Gen. Robert Cone, Fort Hood’s commanding general.
No such thing as coicidence. Divine providence. Lets not forget who is in control. God placed a person with the ability and the courage to do the right thing in the fight against evil in the right place at the right time. Let us not forget this is a spiritual battle. Thank you God for your providence, and thank you, officer, for being willing to be His vessel. Your actions saved the lives of many who are willing to give their own for our country.......

I saw an interview yesterday where the question was asked if the soldiers were armed and the answer was that Fort Hood was their home so only the regular security people carry firearms on the base. I thought that was really interesting to hear.

Anybody know how long it has been military policy to keep privately owned weapons locked up on base?
It was when I served 1974-1978.
And like all gun control laws this one didn’t work as advertised.

I want him to die now, he does not deserve to get the special treatment in store for him via his attorneys and our courts.

So you would just roll over and die? Heroes move forward regardless of the odds! I don't think you really meant to call the dead soldiers cowards ... but that's precisely what you said.

Thanks for keeping your gun at the ready. Thanks for not hesitating to use deadly force. My family’s prayers are for you and yours.

After re-considering it, if a soldier had shot him,m.p. or not, Holder would probably prosecute him/her under the Fereral Hate Crimes Act. Sometimes I see a post that convinces me that there should be laws against stupid comments. That's one of them.

Bases are like little cities unto themselves. Sure, the soldiers do carry firearms on base. However, that is only when cleaning their issued weapons or when conducting training exercises or live fire shoots. These areas would usually be far away from other base facilities like the one described here.
I've never been to Fort Hood, but I suspect that the area they have described would be an area where no field training is going on and therefore, there is no military carrying weapons around there except for base MPs.

Oh the sweet irony that he was taken down by a woman. Good job officer Munley.

Heroes move forward regardless of the odds! Apparently you have not seen what a .45 can do in a center of mass hit. This isn't the movies, you don't get shot and keep running forward.
