The Washington Post this afternoon reported "President Obama delivers remarks on Ft. Hood shooting at end of tribal leaders conference." The transcript begins:
SPEAKER: PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA
[*] OBAMA: "Please, everybody, have a seat. Let me first of all just thank Ken and the entire Department of the Interior staff for organizing just an extraordinary conference."
"I want to thank my Cabinet members and senior administration officials who participated today. I hear that Dr. Joe Medicine Crow (ph) was around, and so I want to give a shout out to that Congressional Medal of Honor winner. It's good to see you."
Ah, the dangers of giving shout outs without a teleprompter. Crow is not a Medal of Honor recipient. As noted by the Congressional Medal of Honor Society:
Crow's name is not included on the Society's Medal of Honor recipient list. He was, however, awarded the Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor, in August.
Obama, often described as "cerebral" by the mainstream media, should know the difference between the Medal of Honor and the Medal of Freedom, especially since he personally awarded the latter to Crow.
Nothing “cerebral” about Hussein 0bama. He is a loser figurehead puppet of the Marxist revolutionaries who are rapidly taking over this nation.
The fact that he chose to stoke his own ego for over 2 minutes before ever bringing up the purpose of the speech is just another indicator.
This guy is just not ready for prime time and eventually even the libs are going to have to admit they are embarrassed.
It probably didn't make the transcript, but I clearly heard him call the murder of our troops as "an unfortunate accident."
He simply doesn't know the difference between an accident and jihad.
I’ve been thinking of comparing TOTUS to Hitler, but that would be an insult to Hitler. He actually got things done. TOTUS is more like Mussolini.

No greater description sums up TOTUS, than Michael Savage labeling him “The Imposter”. A less than one term senator who voted “present”.

It’s rare that I defend Sheik Obama, but he did not use the word “accident”. I think what you heard was “incident”.
I saw that. He was actually smirking/smiling at the time. He was like a local news talking head. Happy face for happy story and sad face for sad story.
I also don’t understand why everyone thinks he is such a great speaker. I don’t have TV so I hardly ever hear him. When I do, he sounds like a total poser. His “thoughtful pauses” don’t sound thoughtful to me. They sound like he is confused and can’t find words.
It’s not hard to imagine that someday soon Obama himself will enter some conference with a Secret Service MP5 in hand and start mowing down the assembled and unarmed crowd. He’s mentally unstable, imo.

Haven’t seen the video, but I did watch the Live version yesterday afternoon...
If the video was edited, it was to tone down the absolute uncaring disrespect that he showed during the first 2+ minutes.....
Presidents don’t give “shout outs”. Community organizers may.
