Well, I see your point on that, but what I meant was if he really was upset about going to Iraq, he could have found a way out. He could have said it went against his religious beliefs if it were true he didn’t want to go.... for the media to say it was just an issue of conscience is deceitful, we all know this was an act of terrorism.
Theory: Psychiatrist counsels soldiers who speak of muslums as low-lives and also who ridicule Islam. Psychiatrist does not gain converts but only dirision. Psychiatrist does drugs while losing his sanity. Something/someone sets psychiatrist off.

Fox News is now - as of a few minutes ago - reporting that he shouted ‘Allahu Akhbar’ just before he started shooting....
(I’d seen that speculated on in threads here on FR, but this is the first Media mention...)

I know exactly what you mean. My SIL is an extremely over educated lefty who teaches at a community college.
She argued until she was red in the face with my wife about those muzzies in France a few years ago who were burning dozens of cars every night because the Police had the nerve to chase and try to arrest some low life POS while he was committing a crime. Sure, they shot him, but I guess my SIL was under the impression they should have tried to catch him and play patty cakes. And if I remember correctly, the muzzie POS didn't want to play patty cakes.
My SIL refused to admit they were muzzies, refused to admit they were wrong about anything, went on and on about how they were so persecuted and wronged at every step of their meager, good-natured, peaceful existence. They only rioted, robbed people, and burned innocent people's cars because the Police made them do it, etc, etc, etc.
I was about to butt in and break up the argument, but my wife was doing such a good job getting her lefty sis to foam at the mouth, that I just sat back and enjoyed the show.

Fox News analyst Peter Johnson Jr. really blasted the cousin, for possibly explaining away the perp’s “motive” for these horrific murders.
I’m not 100% sure that’s what the cousin was doing, but in any case, Johnson was not buying it.

I'm afraid he would have done a lot more damage if he had deployed and been able to get even deadlier weapons in Iraq or Afghanistan. He could have killed a lot more.
