Consider, this guy is a psychiatrist (their type has always left me uneasy as I think they’re unstable by nature), and he’s a Muslim in the US military who is bucking to get out of the service (after they paid for his education), and he’s about ready to deploy to Islamaville which even a true believer realizes is a very bad place to go.
Does anyone expect a different result? Certainly not you or I.
If hes the psychiatrist, what must the people he’s been treating be like?
Curiously, I think becoming a psychiatrist MAKES you unstable. It’s far too easy to read too much into things if you dwell too much on your studies.
I’ve always felt psychiatry is something that you should know everything about, or nothing about. A little knowledge is a very dangerous thing.
