I believe that Soros’ psyche was so damaged in his youthful betrayal of his people to the Nazi death squads that today he is basically a psychological/emotional/intellectual cripple. Also there is the element of seeking atonement by becoming a “Socialist Saint” as so many of the guilty rich do (c.f. Teddy Kennedy).
