You can’t really blame soldiers for suspecting other Muslim soldiers. This incident, as well as the one in Iraq where the Muslim soldier tossed a hand grenade into his fellow soldier’s tent, only proves that some people cannot be trusted - EVER!
It might be a good idea to take those few thousand Muslims in the US service out and do an intense screening process including their origins, mosques attended, reading materials and posting contents. The ACLU and our current CIC won’t let that happen, I know, but how is this going to affect moral? How can anybody in the military feel safe even in their own country? My God, they sacrifice so much for their country and now they can’t be sure a fellow soldier AT HOME isn’t going to shoot them?
Something has to be done and it sure as hell isn’t a good time for that “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy change!
Can we do that to Barry Sorento aka Barak Hussein Obama? Also, isn’t a name change like that a sign of conversion to Islam as an adult? Hmmm, don’t think the jihadists have much to worry about in the backlash department.
