I’m not saying that at all. He does not deserve a pass of any sort, especially irt something like this. He mad an *ss of himself, again, on national television. As stated, he’s not qualified for the position he’s in. We need to fix that in 2012.

The MSM is well aware that they can’t report a shout out at a shoot out.

Are those clowns eating burgers? Think of all the green house gasses produced to make those burgers. Planet killing hypocrites. Oh the humanity!

Enablers are to narcissists as blood is to leeches. Narcissists MUST be surrounded at all times by enabling lapdogs, yes men, and tools or they would shrivel up and die. As long as malleable, pliable, scaredy-cats surround B.O. and refuse to call him out or tell him no, he will continue this bizarre behavior and inappropriate affect. He will laugh when he should cry, pout about that which he should disregard, and aim the spotlight back on him when it dares to tilt towards someone else.

I think Pres. Bush had better justification for his "The Pet Goat" moment.

These were little kids he was with and I can understand his feelings in not wanting to upset or panic them.

"The Messiah," on the other hand, was with adults (nominally) and could have taken a completely different emotional tone.

Unless, of course, "the Messiah" is of the Lib/Commie ethos that adults should be treated as children and children treated as adults as is so popular these days.

I agree, I don’t think the “pet goat” comparison is fair at all. I recall seeing the video footage of an aide whispering into President Bush’s ear at that event on 9/11, and I’m not sure I’ve ever seen an expression of more fierce concentation and resolve than I saw on President Bush. Since he was in the midst of the book, it seemed to make more sense to not cause panic. I’ve always wondered what the Democrats thought he should have done— thrown up the book, screamed, “We’re all gonna die!” and run for the door?

Obama is clearly not a good speaker without a TelePrompter. This is just one more example. I wouldn’t read much more into it than that.

A sincere stutterer who would exhibit genuine somber respect for today's great loss, would be appreciated...
Yucking it up, and making some some boiler-plate perfunctory comments is a bit low... I don't care how tongue-tied a person might be.
He's the President - he's supposed to represent the Nation.

Thank you. I’m safe and sound. I just drove by the elementary school where I teach. There are still children there who are waiting for their parents to pick them up. Personnel were allowed to leave Ft. Hood about an hour ago (and people are just now also being allowed back on post), but the traffic is pure gridlock, as you can imagine; worse than usual. So it will be a good while before the last of the poor kids will be picked up. I’ll bet the school has provided supper for them.

Tough day around here.

And I thought it was just ME! I sat there befuddled wondering if anyone else was thinking that his casual political campaign type opening was weird.

As much as I dislike his politics, there is no way I can even imagine that this incident, or ANY that kills Americans, would make him happy. If you really believe that you’re further right than he is left.

That's the point, Obama IS further left.

He thinks America is the terrorist and America deserves what she gets.

Heard it. Was incredulous and then realized it was Barack Hussein Obama.

I don’t think he made any special effort to make a statement. He had already planned to make some remarks & threw the Ft Hood thing in as an afterthought.

I really don’t think he is happy about the deaths. That would be dispicable beyond imagination if he were.

I do, however, believe that he is happy for the opportunity that this event will afford him to be in the public eye. And that it will also provide his minions cover while they pass health care and other things that will further ruin our country.
