,but the first amendment was never meant to apply to behavior that are dangerous to society,child sacrifice and murder are not protected by freedom of religion and neither should islam
And you can confuse the issue as much as you want but a religious belief is not the same as an act. Some of the comments here are flirting with (if not actually advocating) genocide against Muslims. Are the words, themselves, the moral equivalent of genocide and should those expressing those ideas be thrown in jail for them? Should those who advocate the legalization of drugs be assumed to be drug users and imprisoned as if they were? What good is freedom of speech and freedom of religion if only approved speech and religion is allowed? Isn't that the sort of "freedom" people get in totalitarian countries?
