Why the Guy Fawkes reference?

Are they trying to plant the “anti-government whacko” seed in people’s minds?

Today in Britain is Guy Fawkes Day. In the early 17th century, he tried to set off bombs under the buildings of Parliament. It didn’t work and he was ‘detained.’

It’s obscure. Guy Fawkes day is November 5. Celebrated in the UK, NZ and Australia.

For NZ and Australia, Guy Fawkes was yesterday — it was November 6 for us when the shooting happened.

Prayers up, from DownUnder.
