The guy was a psyc who was recently reassigned from DC to Ft. Hood to work with soldiers going to Iraq and Afghanistan or returning from. I believe he decided to do his own Jihad and apparently recruited some others to help.
This is the nature of what we are fighting and we'd best wake up to it.
