I turned on my car radio to hear that “speech to the nation concerning the tragedy at Ford Hood,” as Shep so adoringly put it. Obama was in the middle of it, in full bombast mode. I missed the opening shout-out to his homies and general jovial remarks to the crowd. Thank God, I think I would have vomited in my new car.
However, in the two sentences that I listened to before I couldn’t stand listening to him any more, he made 3 references to ‘I’ and ‘me’ and mentioned that he was commander-in-chief twice.
Simply unreal. He’s so far off the deep end that he can’t even begin to conceal it, because he doesn’t even recognize it. Somehow calling him evil just doesn’t begin to cover how contemptible he is.
Twice today but it's become a recurring theme whenever he speaks these days. I wonder if he's trying to convince himself, more than us, that he is CIC.
