People who don’t know who they are or who are trying to be someone they’re not, don’t know what they think. It’s a real effort to create a persona and stick to it. He probably has to ask himself at least once every couple of minutes, “Now what should I be thinking in this scenario?” (Never mind feeling, that’s way too much effort.) I expect he will have a nervous breakdown before too long.

The whole "address to nation about Ft. Hood" was nothing more than a footnote to his conference pandering. And then, to stand up there and effin' campaign with "I want all of you to know that as CIC there's no greater responsibility for me that the military is properly cared for, safe, and secure."
