I've been on bases multiple times for military ceremonies.

This is just so horrible. I can't even get my mind around it.

Same here. I was just in Lackland last month for my son's graduation from boot camp. All those wonderful patriotic men and women. I hope whoever did it didn't make it out alive.

Thank your son for me. Boot camp graduation for our son was such a thrilling, emotional experience.

There are parents now locked down at Ft. Hood who were there for their son's or daughter's graduation. I can't imagine what they're going through, can you?
