If he’s the only shooter, then you are talking 15 round clips, probably. He emptied, holstered one, ejected, reloaded, and kept firing with one? It means he had the handguns and extra clips with him, if he was the only shooter.
42 hits minimum with two handguns unless he had the very rare 30 round 9mm clip. I would imagine even buying one of those clips, even in Texas or Virginia, would raise some sort of flag.
