OK. So if he was born in 1970, he should have graduated high school in 1988 or so. However, he didn't graduate from UVA until 1997. The rest of the timeline adds up.

So, it either took him 9 years to earn his undergraduate degree which would be unusual for someone getting into medical school, OR, he earned his degree in four years and did something else for 5 years.

The time from age 18 until completing UVA at age 27 need to be accounted for.

I didn’t start college until I was 25...sometimes, people do other things, or nothing at all for years between. It would be interesting to see how he spent his years...
