If we keep the present ROE, more troops would "appear" to be an advantage.

However, the US Armed Forces has enough resources to simply eradicate the enemy, wherever they may hide, wherever they may stand to fight.

We simply need some one commanding who wants to win this thing, to give the green light for 100 per cent effort.

In other words, we have everything we need to defeat the Taliban — except a commander-in-chief as confident about fighting and winning as he once was as a candidate.
