want to hear a good one... behind the scenes stuff
Jesse Connolly chief of staff for House Speaker Hannah Pingree of the state of Maine took time off work in support of the Gay Marriage bill in Maine. In other words, he worked to get votes to allow same sex marriage. After the bill did not pass last night Connolly this morning said “I will not quit until I know where everyone of these yes vote lives”. Those who voted “yes” were opposed to same sex marriage...those who voted “no” were for same sex marriage.
I would say that is pretty close to a threat. That is what this state has been dealing with for months...
Perhaps Madame Speaker needs a little reminder from the voters in Maine that she is an employee and that having her aides threater the boss is grounds for termination.
