so if she would have been worse how is this a defeat?

There was always going to be one of three outcomes:
Scozzofava
Owens
Hoffman

If she’s the worst, how is what happened tonight a defeat?

Before we see the exit polls we don’t really know what went down. Did all the indy’s go for Owens? Did Dems outnumber reps? What effect did her endorsement of Owens have. How many early ballots were wasted?

Of course it would have been nice to win, but the wins in VA and NJ were much more important.

Obama’s man Corzine got thrashed. After he went all in for him. To a pro-life conservative who worked for George W Bush no less. In deep blue NJ. Despite being outspent 3-1. Every dem incumbent sees that.

That’s what matters.

I don’t know why people think I’m saying she would be better.

We went all out on this. AND WE LOST.

I’m glad the Republican didn’t win. If we had never had a chance at winning, that would be one thing, but we were FAVORED To win and WE LOST.

This does not do our cause any good. It does not help Rubio. It does not help ANYONE that we want to help at all. It only hurts.
