I think Hoffman has a lot of name recognition nationwide, and could get enough financial backing to crush Owens the second time around, this time on the official GOP ticket. This by-election may be over, but the grudge match is on.

If they redistrict NY, they will make that district a strong dem district and Owens will be a lock for as long as they want him to be.
