“Bill Owens Dem. 51,292 49.1% Doug Hoffman Con. 47,219 45.2 Dede Scozzafava Rep. 6,012 5.8”
So out of 104,523 votes, there’s only 6,012 morons who walk in and hit “R”. That’s promising.
51-48% now with 65% reporting. Bad night to be a deviant.
Looks like Maine will reject the law on gay marriage. As Maine goes, so goes the nation.
Many media outlets are saying it’s too close to call at this juncture.
Dixville Notch, NH is the election day barometer. :)
Well, they did go for Zero didn’t they?
On tonight, if Maine Prop 1 succeeds (gay marriage into the trash bin) plus VA and NJ, I’ll be happy.
Meltdown on twitter #maine :)
There is talk on Twitter of a boycott for Maine. Hmmmmm. Now I urge conservatives to vacation here during the summer and ski here during the winter. There will now be fewer liberals vacationing here and it really is a beautiful place to relax. You never know. Maybe some conservatives will even retire here and turn the trend towards liberal transplants around mucking up our poltics. The landscape here is breathtaking.
Would love to visit Maine. Can you suggest some nice quiet villages by the sea?
good news on everything but Hoffman and media will key on Hoffman
