Maine same sex issue close, leaning right!

10:47 -- With 37% reporting, gay marriage is staying alive in Maine by 37 votes right now. I'd guess that a lot of the outstanding votes are from rural precincts, which probably bodes well for overturning the legislature's allowance of gay marriage. --SEAN TRENDE

Bangor Daily News is showing results with 60% reporting, and pro-marriage votes pulling ahead.

The results at this point are remarkably similar to the outcome in California.

In Maine, do vote totals tend to come in from the cities first and more rural areas last?
