Neither!!

Both of them are worthless Rubio is nothing more than a professional politician and Crist is no better. Florida is about to get what they deserve.

Having just come from a fundraiser for Rubio I can state unequivocally that he is not for amnesty. Don’t know where you are getting your “facts” but you might want to review your sources. His stance on illegal immigration is that it is first a national security issue. After the borders have been secured AND the Visa system has been reformed to avoid having people overstay their visas we should address the issue of what to do about the 12-20 million illegals. He believes (rightly) that the public doesn’t trust the government on ths whole issue and will accept dealing with the illegals only after action on the borders and visas. He couldn’t have been more straightforward. True, it’s only words but unless you have specific actions on his part to the contrary, I believe you have wrongly maligned this man.

On other issues he sounds like a freeper — conservative.

In re-reading my previous post I realized that I didn’t properly portray Rubio’s position of what to do with the illegals after securing the borders and fixing the visa overstay problem. He anecdotally identified Reagan’s amnesty for some 3 million illegals as folly. It was so easy to be “pardoned” that some of those in line for legal citizenship gave up their positions and declared themselves as illegals to get a faster path to citizenship. While he didn’t get into specifics it was clear that any path to citizenship would have serious conditions, take time and would not be guaranteed — all requirements for legal citizenship today.
