Christie By One Percent?
NRO ^ | 11/03/09 | Jim Geraghty

Everybody and their brother thinks that New Jersey is going to go down to the wire. But one of my readers is plugged in to a New Jersey Democrat, and this guy's running of the numbers goes to Republican Chris Christie winning by one percentage point. Admission against interest, and all that. Take it for what it's worth.

The unions will fix it and that will be that.

Corzine wins it.

It’s Jersey...same old story.

Right now Christie is ahead more than 1%.

Unless it’s plus 4 or 5 for Christie, Corzine wins. Simply too much corruption to overcome. 1 percent is too easy to erase with “found ballots”.

Okay, fine. It’s worth NOTHING to me.

Sorry... I’d really love to believe Christie will pull it out, and he certainly deserves to. But I’ve been disappointed by NJ voters way too many times to get all hot and bothered before Newark is counted. And that won’t happen until after I go to bed.

If it’s 1%, he will lose in the courts.

christie. anti gun. they all kinda look and sound alike, don't they?

Although I've seen some of the Corzine ads -- he's an all out leftist. "Jon Corzine supports a women's right to choose," indeed. As if that makes him a hero and them victims.

I heard that Camden called for 15 times more absentee ballots than they did just last year. Nuff said.

I heard that Camden, Jersey City, and Newark tend to hold back and report their returns later. These are big Democrat areas, and also areas where ACORN types probably registered voters, if you get my drift.

Could be a long night in Jersey.

Christie must win by three to escape from the ACORN Zombies.

Otherwise, he is Zombie food.

Trust me. It’s Jersey.

Best,

Chris

ACORN laughs at your measly 1%.

On the BORe Show(I know I know I hardly ever watch him but Rove was on) they had an exit poll claiming 51% of Joisy voters wanted more government. Apparently there's not enough corruption and unemployment in NJ.

BTW I wonder what the impact of Johnson and Johnson announcing shrinking 7% of its workforce had?

heh heh

But you’re failing to consider the 93% of its jobs that Bambi and Corzine SAVED...

Needs to be a much wider margin than that.

A narrow win by Christie would just throw it to the courts and a long court case would bring out a continuous stream of “found” votes for Corzine until it equals a win then no more found votes allowed and Corzine will be declared the winner. And, being New Jersey. ACORN is superfluous.

1% before ACORN/SEIU is a certain loss.
