Dunno. But both of those are partial results, so it’s hard to know without knowing which precincts have reported.
Robert F. "Bob" McDonnell (R) | 175,394 | 63.47% |
R. Creigh Deeds (D) | 100,660 | 36.42% |
Precincts Reporting: 425 of 2,516 (16.89%) |
Fox unwilling to call it yet.
I assume they aren’t familiar with Virginia voting patterns. McDonnell will win by probably 12 or so based on past election returns.
*HUGZZZZ*
When you all get your freedom back I will finally be able to breath again!
I’m no expert on Virginia, but it looks pretty strong for McDonnell so far. The numbers were shifting for a while, but have stabilized.
Anyone want to guess when the VA race will be called?
I’ll go with 8:05 pm.
To put it in perspective, around this time George Allen had about a 53-46 lead on Jim Webb. That ended up dead even at 53. I’m leaving some room for error, but the counties generally report in approximately the same order.
Robert F. "Bob" McDonnell (R) | 232,296 | 64.16% |
R. Creigh Deeds (D) | 129,366 | 35.73% |
Precincts Reporting: 535 of 2,516 (21.26%) |
I'm calling it for McDonnell, even if Fox is too chicken.
Alleghany County is going for the Dems with 8 of 13 precincts reporting.
City of Alexandria is turning blue - but I would expect that.
Will be interesting to see how Fairfax County votes. I would think Loudoun would turn red.
Yep. It’s over. McDonnell wins.
Sorry, I meant it was dead even at 50.
City of Alexandria IS blue .... no turning.
This is why the MSM always starts in No. VA.
We need a fancy FR graphic so we can “officially” call it. :-)
Robert F. "Bob" McDonnell (R) | 285,574 | 62.86% |
R. Creigh Deeds (D) | 168,231 | 37.03% |
Precincts Reporting: 659 of 2,516 (26.19%) |
OK but I am looking at the map - yes it should turn bright blue.
Fairfax might be 50/50? Loudoun 55/45?
It would be nice.
Now let’s see about that plan to sell VA’s state liquor stores.
Robert F. "Bob" McDonnell (R) | 347,534 | 62.44% |
R. Creigh Deeds (D) | 208,405 | 37.44% |
Precincts Reporting: 795 of 2,516 (31.59%) |
Virginia regaining Her Roots.
Welcome Back
How nice that you have the knowledge of your family’s history back then.
I hope he wasn’t killed in the battle.
BTW, you are a patriot. Courageous people also feel the fear, but endure/ignore it for what they know is right. ( In helping people to understand truths, it takes a bit of practice. You’d be surprised how many people will agree with the things you have the nerve to say. )
You are on the right track.
