If there’s any question of a D carrying Arlington, things are really really bad for them. It’ll be interesting to see those pcts come in, tho. I don’t see how this rumor would stir the Dems to even bother to go out and vote.
If you think McDonnell will be +22 in Arlington, then you’re getting your info from a hoaxster. Deeds will carry Arlington and Alexandria, altho’ clearly by a smaller margin than did the Big Ø.
Ditto for my Alexandria precinct, which is overwhelmingly Libtard. When I went to vote, there was no one there. Business, they told me, was slow. Schweet.
If Frank Wolf does decide to retire, then could Liz Cheney fill his shoes? I hear she lives in McLean.
I can’t imagine she’d want a house seat.
Last year, I was hoping Fred Thompson would run for the Senate seat, since he lives in Virginia. We got Gilmore instead.
