Now the Indiana Senate has proposed SB205, http://www.in.gov/legislative/bills/2009/IN/IN0205.1.html now in committee. It allows the parent, to once again, correct a child's behavior with corporal punishment. It does place rules so that a parent doesn't go overboard and endanger the child. But they have seen the need to allow parent's rule over their child without fear of from Child Protective Services.

What a concept! A return to basics and some good, old fashioned common sense. I remember a few “attitude adjustments” growing up and was/am the better for it...later in life. Seems the older I get, the smarter my parents were.
