Michael Caine as Harry Brown
The actor, 76, a former Labour supporter, condemned the terrible state that has been allowed to develop in Britain and said he planned to change his allegiance at the next election.
For his latest film, Harry Brown, about violence on Britains streets, Sir Michael spent time with a gang from a tough inner London estate, who were hired as extras.
He told a Sunday newspaper: It's a big problem. The country is getting more and more violent and this film is a wake-up call, a warning to us all.
I'll probably vote Conservative. I mean, we're in a terrible state whichever way you look at it, socially, financially and politically, so just give the other guy a chance.

Did he or someone he cares about get hurt or attacked?
That's usually what it takes.
Mark Levin called it:
“Conservatism is on the ascendancy!”
;)
btt
If you’re not a liberal at twenty you have no heart, if you’re not a conservative at forty you have no brain.
Winston Churchill
“When a liberal suddenly turns conservative, I have to wonder what happened to him personally.”
The Labour Party wants to raise personal income taxes over 50%. They are presently hitting him in his pocketbook. The violence in Britain has been around for decades.
In this case, I suspect Robert Duvall got him in a headlock.....i.e. Secondhand Lions
I love that movie!
Even though the little kid is such a bad actor...
They can't see that there are certain truths in life, so they hop from one idea to another with no consistency, except for the consistency of “what's in it for me”.
As soon as the Conservative Party begins actually doing what is required to fix the problems, Michael Caine will jump back to the Socialists.
This is why I am alway skeptical about liberals claiming that they have changed. What they are saying is that they used to be the hard core but now in the fringe. But they are still inside the fence, while glancing at what is outside from time to time. Then they claim that they are actually well-balanced conservative. :-)
The lib/lab/con fallacy in England is dying... I would personally vote BNP... Throw the Muslims out of Britain...
” It is part of the Communist doctrine and drillbook, laid down by Lenin himself, that Communists should aid all movements towards the Left and help into office weak Constitutional, Radical or Socialist governments. These they should undermine, and from their falling hands snatch absolute power, and found the Marxist state. “

You are most perceptive indeed...

How much damage will be inflicted on this country until our own elites see the light?
Talk about one of the hardest working men in show biz, this guy works all the time, and makes every film he’s in better.
Always liked Michael Caine—great actor. Too bad it took him so long to wake up.
Robert Duvall is excellent in the movie! I would recommend ‘Secondhand Lions’ to anyone, and it's a good movie for kids also.
Agreed......I sent it & Being There, as gifts to friends & family this year.....
He’s been a Tory since 1979.
