Female dancer video circulating in N. Korea: defector
SEOUL, Nov. 2 (Yonhap) -- A video clip showing female dancers in skimpy costumes performing to American music is being secretly circulated in North Korea via CD-ROMs, a North Korean defector said Monday.
The video, obtained by Yonhap News Agency from the defector, who requested anonymity, would not be considered obscene elsewhere in the world. But revealing outfits and American music are both considered taboo in the conservative North.
In the clip, several groups of four women in crop-tops and thigh-length shorts or skirts dance to fast disco music on a brightly-lit stage. Their outfits are made of shiny gold, red and blue fabrics, and the dancers perform in a way that would be considered lewd in North Korea -- raising their bare leg and shaking their chests and hips. The video has captions giving the title of each song as it is played, and includes "Aloha Oe," a Hawaiian folk song.

I have seen that video clip on Japanese TV any number of times. There is reportedly a special group of girls, all of which match the “Dear Leader’s” personal version of what is most beautiful, who’s sole job is to cater to both the party elite and distinguished visitors.
Of course, the girls are warned that if they ever speak to anyone of their jobs, the punishment will fall on their families to the eight generation.

And the kimpujo are ranked in descending (morally) order of what they are tasked to do.
A) Level will sit with the foreign guests, engage in small talk, pour drinks, and basically "hostess" (flirt/mood-set). B) Level will perform traditional Korean dances; C) Level will take a a notch further, with illicit Western dancing and maybe even some stripping; and finally D) Level are outright prostitutes, provided for free by the government, who will accompany the drunk foreign guests to their rooms to service them and report back any and all information to the DPRK secret police.
This is all in the service of the Party, the country and the Dear Leader. A number of women dont even want to do this; too much complaining and you are going to end up with a bullet to the back of the head, or up in a freezing concentration camp collecting bark to eat and burn to keep warm. Kipmujo and their families have in fact been sentenced to death camps, and some have even escaped to the West and written about the horror of the system there.

He might have demanded “service” on the doggone plane on the way BACK from Pyongyang (and maybe Laura and Euna locked themselves in the latrine for safety for the entire 10 hour flight!!)
