So what we want is a government of whatever stripe that has no tolerance for terrorists and the Taliban. His opponent has just dropped out of the runoff in protest crooked elections, so it’s Karzai unopposed and tainted. Nice. A troop surge would be merely to maintain a holding pattern ‘til something good happens. We may have to wait a while, and the body count may well go up merely to defend an indefensible status quo.
As for karzai you are repeating the msm storyline. Whether it's true or not, I don't know, maybe it is, this time. What I do know is to take anything from the drive bys with a handful of salt.
