Organizing for America (OFA) is the rebranded successor to Obama for America, the election campaign organization for Barack Obama in 2008. It works in partnership with the Democratic National Committee to mobilize support for Obama's policy agenda. Organizing for America is essentially a nation-wide lobby organization to promote and build support for Obama's political agenda, the latest incarnation of what some such as reporter Ari Melber have called "Obama 2.0" composed of his many millions of technologically-connected supporters and contributors linked by his having their 13 million email addresses and millions of cell phone numbers for instant text messages. The scope and technological sophistication of the organization is unprecedented for any previous president.

Geez... Just another ACORN offshoot we have to worry about!
Yeah I traced that one down myself when I saw some signs at our local town hall protest back in July.
Two things: I’ve read a pledge that said, “I pledge allegiance to Barack Obama.” Not the US, the Constitution, the flag, but Barack. It was presented as the pledge taken by OFA members — as a claim, not a provable fact. If the claim is true, it’s... strange: a pledge of allegiance to a political candidate? Doesn’t make sense.
And I’ll bet that if honest audits are ever conducted, OFA will be dsicovered to have been funded with significant taxpayer money. BHO operates as if he were above the law. This means to me that he and his are outside the law, outlaws who should meet uncompromised justice.
FUBO, I pledge to help in his political destruction
Yes...many strange things happening with this fellow. Rumors of the pledge thing seems to be proliferating throughout the system (especially schools). The problem is that it will be up to the locals to investigate and they just do not have the power to overrule the Federal - This Federal will curtailed any actions that it deems harmful.
I did not realize just how much power that the executive had until recently! Maybe it’s time for someone in Congress to take things to a higher Court - not holding my breath though. Seems that most are too scared to make waves...
It’s Civil War 2.
I read today we are in an awkward position.
It’s too late to work within the system, but it’s too early to shoot the bastards.
Seems about right.
Let’s organize to defeat them at the next ballot box, and have plan B ready in case we need it!
Things you know ping.
The difference is that tax-payers are paying for Organizing for America.
Deagle, BHO has less power than he pretends. A National Sovereignty Symposium will meet in Omaha on January 16 to discuss the extent to which the states can tell the feds where to get off. Some western sheriffs are already doing pretty well at it.
bfree, I literally pray that we succeed in taking BHO down politically without having to take him down in any other way. I pray most fervently, but I’m not optimistic, and I continue preparing for any foreseeable futures.
