Gays demand tolerance and inclusion.
See how long that lasts once should they continue to get people fired because they dare not agree with their brand of "marriage"....

Massachusetts keep it up and your population of taxpayers will be less than 50% of what it is presently.
Ask California for a loan if you need one.

Yep,
according to the article she forced the conversation on him, then accused him of harassment when he stated his views. And his company sided with her.
As one of the posters at the link asked, would the store have taken that action if he was a Muslim?

Brookstone’s excuse: homosexual marriage is legal in Massachusetts so it’s not harassment.
Blowjobs are legal in Massachusetts, too. Does that mean an employee can talk about getting blowjobs all day at work and it’s not harassment?

If she kept talking about pork chops to a practicing Jew I’d think that the Jew would have the harrassment case against her.

Would the store fire a homosexual who was speaking against heterosexual marriage? Heterosexual marriage is legal in MA.
This guy should sue and when his story gets out, people should boycott Brookstone’s.

If she kept talking about pork chops to a practicing Jew Id think that the Jew would have the harrassment case against her. That's what he should have done - the first time she re-opened the subject, he should have told her that her sex life is her personal business and he considered it harassment for her to force any details of it on him. Then file HIS complaint first.

Are we gonna have to deal with those who are into S&M next? Are they going to demand special rights ‘cause of what they do sexually?

I normally don't agree with litigation but he needs to sue the store. Freedom of religion means that people have the right to believe, and live according to those beliefs, however they wish.
This man should be able to get his job back and speak openly and freely about his beliefs, just as the lesbian store manager should be able to put a picture of her wife on her desk. That's what freedom means - tolerating even the beliefs we don't understand and find repugnant.
Christians aren't fired if they tell a Buddhist employee they don't agree with their beliefs (and visa versa). The same should be held here. Freedom of religion is fundamental and comes from God.
I say sue. Take them to court.
To: bocopar
Hope that the guy sues and wins tons of money from the woman and the store. Glad that he already has another job. I would say that Brookstone lost a very valuable employee—I was very impressed with his values, eloquence, and his intelligence.
