Yea, I thought exactly the same thing. From what I can gather tho, the neighbors think these are “historic” buildings (but they’re not on any historic register) and they’d howl at such an action.

You can’t see the first two on Google street view, but you can see down the street and it looks like a pretty common residential neighborhood that borders on a commercial zoned busy street. The homes are probably filled with iron pipe, which isn’t worth much, and older dimension lumber, which might be worth something. The trim and fixtures would be the only things where a big payoff could be...
