Jason Shih, an Assistant Deputy Director to the campaign of NJ Gov. Jon Corzine was arrested last night on drug charges.
East Rutherford police say they pulled over the 25-year-old on Route 17 for driving while using a cell phone.
Police say they found 19 ecstasy pills and several hundred glassine envelopes.
He was charged with possession of a controlled narcotic and paraphernalia that is used for distribution.

He was released on $15,000 bail.

Thats because to them its a non-story (read: No Republicans involved).
Maybe he was bringing a after dinner snack to his boss...

ABc first covered it, then pulled the story, and no major network is picking it up.
Have to have good drugs going down the home stretch to pull the 24 hour schedule...........racing against time.
Christie needs to run ads within the hour: “Corzine tries to hide his drug-dealing aide’s arrest...corruption is out of control in Trenton!”
It’s just to the point that we are no longer surprised by what the dems are doing. Most people consider this “Nothing to get excited about”...nothing will be done to him anyway.

Your theory may have some validity. It's most likely that the arrestee has been drugging for quite some time. This can only hurt Corzine in a tight race - if word gets out sufficiently.
