(CNSNews.com) NFL Players Association Executive Director DeMaurice Smith would not say whether the NFL had treated talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh fairly when racist quotes were falsely attributed to Limbaugh shortly after word leaked that he was involved in a potential bid to buy a stake in the St. Louis Rams.

Screw the NFL. What little interest I had in the Crips vs. Bloods League I lost because of the way they treated Rush. Rush’s money isn’t good enough for the NFL? My money isn’t either.

Rush is going to get rich beyond his wildest dreams if he pursues action against these folks.

Unfortunately the sheeple will continue to watch these thugs play on gameday and pay good money to do so. If their team wins they will say “we were good” and if their team loses they will shout “they were terrible.”

He was called to the carpet on J.Lo and Fergie for their racist remarks, drugs, etc. They are part of the meal ticket for the NFL and he is not in a Barrack and a Hard Place. If he says that Rush was treated fairly, he has to dismiss the J.Lo’s and Fergies who are part owners, if not, he opens the NFL up to a lawsuit for what could be termed as lost wages ... doesn’t matter. This guys a puppet.

I received this email from the Media Research Center.
Its nice to see that someone in Washington has a backbone!
Yesterday, during a House Judiciary Committee hearing about football injuries, Congressman Steve King (R-IA) confronted NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell about the double standard he applied to Rush Limbaughs bid for franchise ownership compared to other celebrity owners.
Congressman King set the record straight on the lies being told about Rush and told Goodell he owed Rush an apology.
Click here to see this exchange.
Incensed by the hypocrisy of the NFLs position, MRC President Brent Bozell quickly recorded a special video message to you and the rest of the MRC Action Team.
Please click here to hear Brents personal message and follow his call to action!
+ + Demand the NFL apologize to Rush Limbaugh
Roger Goodell, who said Rush Limbaughs divisive comments had no place in the NFL, didnt have any similar concerns when pop stars J. Lopez and Fergie became part owners of the Miami Dolphins, even though many of their songs promote sexual abuse toward women, pornography and drug use. The hypocrisy here is astounding!
This kind of double-standard affects all conservatives, and cannot be tolerated. The NFLs spineless attacks on Rush are indefensible. Even when the truth was revealed, Goodell refused to apologize, passing up an opportunity to be a man and set the record straight.
Thats why we must take action. Left unchecked and unchallenged, baseless attacks like these will only intensify until the Left has succeeded in silencing us.
I urge you to take immediate action by calling NFL corporate headquarters right now and demanding that Commissioner Goodell publicly apologize to Rush!
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell can be reached at:
212-450-2000
We need an intense showing by conservativessending a strong message to all that we will not tolerate these kinds of baseless attacks, and we will respond in mass.
When calling, identify yourself and demand Roger Goodell publicly apologize for his destructive statements about Rush.
We want Goodell to feel the heat of a conservative blitz, so after calling, please forward this message to 25-30 friends urging them to view the videos and call as well.
Again, we cannot allow these kinds of hate-inspired attacks to go unchallenged, and we are counting on you to take action and call in the 12-24 hours! Feel free to call multiple times. We want to make sure this message is heard loud and clear!
Thank you for your outstanding support of the MRC. David Martin P.S. Please call NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell at (212) 450-2000 right away and demand he apologize to Rush Limbaugh. P.P.S. Get the whole truth on the lies told about Rush by visiting our

Adult thugs playing a children’s game. It barely interested me when I was younger, and when the game got thoroughly thuggified I went to complete boycott mode.
Of course I’m practically alone in my opinion. Bread and circuses, you know.

I wouldn’t trust Mr. Smith’s judgment given that he was part of the Obama transition team before he became the head of the NFLPA.

You need to be gay to enjoy watching fat black men playing grabas* in public.
That is basically all there is to the NFL.
Hey wasn't there a NBB league one time as well. But they may have called NLB.

Well you need the hypnotized fans paying for all those NFL packages. Cable TV is what funds the salaries and makes owners rich
NFL = soap opera for male fans with all the off field arrests and pregnant girlfriends and contact disputes

At a House Judiciary Committee hearing on head injuries in the NFL on Wednesday, Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee (D-Tex.) ...At least there was an expert on the Committee. Didn't she hit her head on the space capsule on the way back from Mars?

I don’t see how Smith can shrug this off, when he was the one against Limbaugh participating in ownership of the Rams.

Rush is going to get rich beyond his wildest dreams if he pursues action against these folks.I think if he was going to do that he would already have done it. Sadly, I think this is "water under the bridge" (as he called it twice last week when callers brought it up). It bothers me tremendously that (apparently) Rush won't fight this. I really hope I'm wrong.

Rush has time on his side.
