While the Obama administration continues its war against its media critics, well-known liberal journalists — instead of defending freedom of the press — are joining the attack on a news network they despise as much as does the administration. Gone is any seeming concern for the right of commentators to voice their own opinion, because mainstream liberal editorial writers are sure their opponents are both extremists and wrong.
Take, as our first example, Jacob Weisberg, editor-in-chief of The Slate Group. Writing in last week’s Newsweek, Weisberg explained at the start that anyone who watches Fox News knows immediately that Anita Dunn’s charge that Fox has a “right-wing bias” is correct, since Fox always confirms “it with its coverage.” Referring to Fox’s own reporting on the administration’s attacks on the network, he notes that Fox showed what he calls a “textbook example of a biased journalism.” If it is true, it is hardly surprising, since the very network under attack might be expected to come to its own defense.....

At least he is trying to ‘split the difference’ and stake out the ‘objective’ mantle for his own organization; but it made me laugh because even CNN knows that MSNBC is beyond the pale leftist.
The so-called “main stream media” is not biased toward the DNC, they “are” the DNC.
Until people get that through their heads they will never understand what keeps happening to them, and they will never fix it.
Stop worrying what the DNC press has to say about you, and stop trying to borrow their microphone when you’re trying to communicate your message.
Get your own microphone.
Find sources of information you trust, or build sources of information you trust. And turn the DNC mouthpieces off.
To do his (Obama’s) dirty work for him.
That way he can remain aloof and above the fray and have deny-ability. You remember that term I hope.

To those who wondered how some people helped Goebbels with his propaganda during the Nazi regime, look no further than liberal journalists who have piled on against Fox, egging on Obama to practically destroy the first amendment. I think a lot of people’s eyes have been opened by Obama, and in the long run he will be a good thing to make things quite clear in this country. The biggest victims will be the MSM whose bias is now so painfully obvious, that their march to collective suicide is picking up pace.

I think and hope you are quite correct. Regardless, I am a protector of the first amendment. You are too.
Why did Terry McCauliff and Governor Ed Rendell, both die-hard Liberal-Dems, say publicly that Fox News offered the fairest coverage of the Democratic Primary campaign over all other news media? Because it was true! Even Saturday Night Live scored heavy on the disgusting sycophancy displayed by the fawning press for its Obama coverage when they did a mock debate between Hillary and Obama and questioners gave Obama praise in the form of questions.
This attacking of the adversarial media is getting perverse and frankly these journalists are a disgrace. What Obama is doing is much like what Chavez or even Castro did with their adversarial press, accuse it of nefarious goals, then use those false charges to silence it. Obama in a ham handed approach is publicly attacking a member of the press who is questioning him with damn good arguments. It is unpresidential. The Obamistas talk of control of the internet, the silencing of talk-radio and now the open attack on Fox News - and they wonder why people complain of conspiracies.
President Geo W Bush was lied about by the press to a degree that was stupefying yet he never even came close to a move like this. The country experienced Dan Rather of CBS using grotesquely faked documents to call the President a coward and a liar on national television. In most countries of the world Rather’s actions would have resulted in a death sentence. Yet Bush kept his head down and soldiered on. Compare that to the backbiting, vicious partisanship of this administration, their cry baby whining, and their inability to defend themselves against real arguments. They have made it a point to set people against one another. They waste valuable time chastising friendly media outlets to ostracize Fox News. There is something very dark and un-American about this. It is not what Presidents of the United States should be doing yet here we are.
If Fox is wrong they will be jettisoned, but unfortunately for Obama they are not part of his adoring press and tend to report all the facts, not previously selected, polled and agreed upon ones.
The faster the MSM’s demise, the better!
