President Obama called the 22-year ban on travel and immigration by HIV-positive individuals a decision "rooted in fear rather than fact" and announced the end of the rule-making process overturning the ban.
The president signed the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Extension Act of 2009 at the White House Friday and also spoke of the new rules, which have been under development more more than a year. "We are finishing the job," the president said.
The regulations are the final procedural step in ending the ban, and will be published Monday in the Federal Register, to be followed by the standard 60-day waiting period prior to implementation.

You hit the nail on the head. I’m worried for the troops in Afghanistan while our SOB president is worried about the queers and their “feelings”. The state of the economy just scares the hell out of me. It’s not so great in my area of Florida.
Son of a b*tch is shoring up his base.

It will end up costing us a fortune, and serve as a magnet for the AIDS-infected around the world, who will consume what are soon to be scarce health-care resources.”
I think I have just figured out how he is going to turn this into his dream African nation.
Looks like he wants to turn us into Kenya. Wonder why? Hmmmm.
“We are finishing the job”
Of nailing the lid on America’s coffin?
If I was China, I’d supply Africa with the commercial airplanes to provide every AIDS patient with a one way ticket. Free of charge.
It seems that the news released on a Friday (especially before a holiday) is always particularly interesting.
I’m wondering if one of the reasons the government wants to control healthcare is so they can make money off of global HIV in some way. I hate to think in those cynical terms, but based on their performance so far, this administration warrants that type of thinking.
In any event, one thing is for sure, the UN and activists were pushing for the lifting of this ban. I wonder if Obama has aspirations of heading the UN someday.
There is the problem in regard to the military of field first-aid treatment of open gays, who have a more likelihood of having HIV; and the pending disaster in Muslim countries where the enemy will say that the U. S. forces are open homosexuals who are bringing HIV to the population.
For those who intrinsically hate the U. S., beginning with Obama, this is just splendid.
Moderate dems and R’s have GOT to be getting pretty sick of this sh*t.
It sounds more like the scumbag Ubama is trying to kill off Democrats.
