There was also a Yahoo article from the Washington Post talking about a leak from the House ethics panel. They led the story with a picture of Rangel! Again, only because it is the middle of the night?
This story is at the top on my “my.yahoo” news. It will be interesting to see if it stays “above the fold” by morning.
Liberal logic:
Government health care will be cheaper, in the mean time we will impose a tax on all health care products which will make them more expensive, which we, the government, will eventually be paying for.
I’ve been reviewing medicare programs particularly medicare advantage programs as the season has begun for our seniors. I’ve observed that the medicare recipients are in a heap of trouble financially. The medicare programs have gone way up in premiums, the copays are huge and they don’t get a standard of living increase in social security....but the fine print says: if you have a limited income, these fees may be paid for you. Guess what...the taxpayers are footing the bills again. I do know that these fees for medicare advantage programs were dictated by the feds during the summer. The medigap programs have a few items scrapped from their programs. So....Obama got his way....screw the seniors! I feel soooo bad and it’s going to be painful visiting my clients.
That’s something I could never figure out myself. How in the world do you make something more affordable by raising its cost!? 1984 is surely upon us.
