I was FURIOUS when I got that mag. Then, elsewhere I read that Costco is now going to accept food stamps from their customers. My question: who is paying the membership fees for the customers using food stamps?

I am considering seriously that I should discontinue my membership. I also beong to Sam’s and Sam’s has more things that I need and better hours.

As for the people shopping with food stamps, Costco is not necessarily a good investment for them. THe packages are too large for the average family, take up too much room, and often are not a bargain.

Just paid my yearly membership ($100) last week. They better make the “food-stamp” people pay for their membership like my family.

I don’t care if they take food stamps as long as they don’t get a free-ride off of my membership fees. One reason we have memberships at costco and sams is to avoid all the hassle and drag of shopping elsewhere.

I hate long lines at places like Wal-Mart. If Costco ends up like them, I will stop going there, even though I do save a bunch of cash at both Sams and Costco.
