we may have a movie worth going to see. Here is the preliminary scoop from a friend: "***MOVIE DEAL*** Vietnam POW, friend, & fellow River Rat, Bud Day, has signed a contract with a Hollywood producer to do a movie of his life. Gary Sinise is likely to play Bud. He hasn't committed yet but has met with Bud and Bud approves. John Voight has signed but not sure for what part. A $85 to 90-million budget is in place! Estimated completion in a year to year & 1/2. SHADOW Colonel Day is a very decorated Vietnam Vet. He went down in a twin seater F-100F. He was excorting a stikeforce of F-105s. My dad was a strike pilot flying the F-105 (not Bud's squadron). Lots of info out there about this incredible hero. Connie please ping anyone you think would be interested in my scoop. Thank you.
