I should have specified that I was referring to Michelle, not Carla Bruni.

It also should have been “an aristocrat”, not “and aristocrat.”

Excellent point. Perhaps the Empress Theodora might fit Mrs. Zero: From Wikipedia:

Nah, Madame De Farge was a cackling old hen compared to Carla. But I don’t see what the hub bub is all about. The wives of French leaders have always been like this. And to a lesser degree most French women.
