Considering how gearymandered (sp?) the districts are drawn in CA no surprise the NRCC is ignoring this race.
I thought that when I first heard about this race. But the polling is really close. This is a district that usually goes Democrat by 2 to 1, and the poll in late September/early October had the margin in this race in single digits. By “historical turnout models” it was a 7 point race, and weighted by primary turnout, it was at 2 points.

Also, Arnold won this district in 2006. They don’t just go habitually for the “D” candidate.
Check the links below, especially “An Upset in California?” by John Fund in the Wall Street Journal.
If the NRCC would just send a small portion of what they are spending in upstate New York pushing a radical leftist, it could turn this seat over to a conservative Republican.
I am also contacting the NRCC to ask why they are supporting Scozzafava in the race in upstate New York, and why they are ignoring David Harmer in this close race in California’s 10th district. Here are the numbers if anyone else wants to call:

Also, perhaps those of us who donated to the RNC or RCCC should ask for our money back so we can support the conservative candidates of our choice.
