Dr. Running, here's a bit of non-so-inside information: Cap&Tax IS all about ruining the country and has almost nothing to do with climate.
As a Michigander, last I looked out the window the economy is already ruined.

The Congress and our political leaders do not have a clue about either climate change nor the economy. They wouldn't know how to wreck the economy if they tried. Unfortunately, they aren't trying to wreck the economy, they are attempting to save the world. As H. L. Mencken observed the impulse to save mankind is a mask for the impulse to enslave it.

Why is it, it is being reported but ignored by the MSM?
The biggest things to impress upon people is that Cap and Trade won’t even alter the climate.

I wish it was simple incompetence.
1) There is a deliberate attempt to silence any science that opposes or questions AGW. It is breathtaking how bad the science is behind the AGW conclusion.
2) There aren’t even any discussions of alternate methods to address their myth. Debilitating taxation has been the only method discussed. Every now and then you’ll read about a scientist who has a proposal to sequester CO2, or seed the upper atmosphere with sunlight blockers...but all that is under consideration is redistribution of wealth.
3) Lord Monckton gave a recent series of talks that indicate that the entire Cap&Tax scheme is a deliberate attempt to introduce global socialism. FR has a couple of them summarized.
