It could be just as easily written that a spoiled, rich cat owner, who couldn't be bothered with controlling her pets, got her comeuppance when a neighbor finally had had enough.
I can assure you that if I had been feeding my garden food to my children, washed or not, and then found out that a neighbor's cat had been pissing on the food, I would not be a happy camper.
