I would say that if an individual in the US is paying their own insurance then they should have the right to ask for medical staff of their own color.

But if an individual is using taxpayer funds, I would say that right is gone as other races pay taxes too. Then you would be using money partly paid by minorities to discriminate against minorities.

Of course in England, this is probably a govt. hospital and govt. employees getting paid with taxpayer money so I think the woman is wrong here.

Oh really? How exactly does paying your insurance qualify you to demand hospital staff of your own color? I would say, yes, if youre rich enough to own your own hospital, then go ahead, and use the staff you want. Until then, stop inconveniencing people who are also doing their jobs, with your idiotic demands. After all, tomorrow if I walked into a store, and said “I only want to be served by a white clerk cuz Im paying with my own 15$, and not food stamps”, well, I dont think Id get much service.
