Is there a reason you're not making that point?
Carry_Okie, thanks for making that point yourself.

And Elk Grove Dan and other California FReepers, I ask, are you aware of the race in the California 10th District on November 3rd? This is the other special election that will be on that day. There is a fiscally conservative Republican in that race who is getting no support from the party and very little attention from the media.

That race pits Demcorat Lt. Governor Garamendi against conservative Republican David Harmer. The district has been gerrymandered into what should be a “safe Democrat seat,” but a poll around the beginning of October showed this race with a single digit margin. It is an opportunity for Republicans to pick up a seat with a candidate who:

I don’t live in California (or New York), but I have been watching these two races, and I have supported the Conservative candidate in both races. Here is some more info about David Harmer:
I support David Harmer for California’s 10th Congressional District (donations). He is a conservative candidate who has been a fellow at the Heritage Foundation and the Cato institute. He is committed to controlling spending, promoting economic growth, and free market solutions to todays problems.

I am also contacting the NRCC to ask why they are supporting Scozzafava in the race in upstate New York, and why they are ignoring David Harmer in this close race in California’s 10th district. Here are the numbers if anyone else wants to call:

Also, perhaps those of us who donated to the RNC or RCCC should ask for our money back so we can support the conservative candidates of our choice.

From the desk of
cc2k:
Candidates I support: Doug Hoffman for Congress, NY 23rd (PayPal), David Harmer for Congress, CA 10th (website for info).

Please, spread the word about these important special elections on November 3, 209: New York’s 23rd congressional district and California’s 10th congressional district.

They have made it so plain - they DO NOT want a conservative candidate - whether they are running on the Republican ticket or the conservative ticket. This election the GOP has truly exposed their liberalism. Perhaps you can send it to Beck - and show the partiality of the GOP and inform those who aren't watching closely. Highly doubt Sean would get deep into it w/his boy Newt but I may be wrong. It's a perfect example to show how the GOP is anti-conservative!

The same came be said for Florida w/RINO Crist!
