I support Palin, not Romney. However, what he said was worded diffewrently than stating that he was not going to make an endorsement. He said he COULD NOT endorse Scozzafava. He also leaves the door open for a last minute endorsement of Hoffman.

Why would he do such a thing? He might anticipate someone saying later that he endorsed non-Republicans. Yeah, he could explain the circumstances, if he gets the opportunity.

He still won’t get my vote. I still don’t believe much of what he says. But this statement is a step farther than Huck’s.

According to earlier reports, Romney has already said he will not endorse anyone in NY23 (not that his previous words mean anything to his future actions). At least Huck praised Hoffman—Romney didn’t even have the guts to do that.

They’re both sniveling cowards, IMO.

Not really, Huck believes in Hoffman but won’t endorse him. Mitt and Huck are ‘for themselves’ - for their political care. If they can’t stand for conservatism - we don’t need them - no matter what they ‘say’ in the 11th hour.
