B.S. He will be paid under the table.

It would be an even better trick if Barack Obama was drinking a glass of water while Fritz was saying this...

Straight out of Dr. Zhivago when he tells the Aparatchtik that it was more just that so many families now lived in his home. She reminds him it is not his house to welcome them in to. Remember, it’s the redistribution of wealth and the UN is going house to house in Manhattan looking to get back to a time when housing was a right and not a commodity.

What do you expect? The Treasury is his boss. Obama is his boss. Is he gonna disagree with his boss?

If he believes his reduced pay is fair, then by definition his earlier salary must have been unfair. Therefore he was not acting as a prudent CEO in protecting GM’s owners (the shareholders) against looting by management in the form of excessive salaries and benefits. Accordingly he should fire all over-paid employees at GM and then resign.

...who will see their base salaries slashed... "base salaries"; nothing compared to their other compensation. They'll still make out like bandits while the people who work for them will wonder if they'll be able to feed their families next week.

To remain on the “plantation” one occasionally must bow to the posterior. Take one for the team, subject yourself to Master. Just another day on the job, working on the chain gang. Supper will be great, and my flu shot is waiting. Nice warm government subsidized house. What more could I ask for?

Notice they didn’t TOUCH Jeffery Imelt’s pay??
Could it be that they overlooked GE’s $80 BILLION DOLLARS from TARP because GE owns MSNBC and MBC????

Under Feinberg’s plan, Henderson’s compensation package is expected to be nearly $5.5 million,
Ooo, that is going to hurt!

General Motors Co. CEO Fritz Henderson said Wednesday that government-imposed cuts to his own salary, and the pay of other executives at seven companies that received taxpayer money, were "fair" and "thoughtful." Please sir, may I have another? that guy has been CEO since March what a tool.

I can’t wait until Michigan starts yelling (as NY has done) about its lost tax revenue!
Once again....unintended consequences....
You would think that they could, uh, well......think.
